Fees and Payments

Effective 1 November 2025, our clinic will return to Universal Bulk Billing for eligible patients.

All non-referred GP consultations (standard, in-person, and telephone) will be bulk billed for patients with a valid Medicare card, with no out-of-pocket fees for these Medicare-eligible services.

Private fees apply to:

  • Patients without a valid Medicare card
  • Services not covered by Medicare, including certain procedures, forms/reports, and non-Medicare consumables or administrative requests.

Telehealth remains available where clinically appropriate and Medicare eligibility criteria are met.

What if I need to cancel? Please provide at least 4 hours notice so we can offer your appointment to another patient. If you do not notify us that you are not attending your appointment, we will charge a $25.00 no-show, which does not attract a Medicare rebate. This fee applies to all patients.

Fees are subject to change at doctors’ discretion in relation to consult requirements but patients will be made aware prior

What do I need to bring to my appointment now? Upon presenting to the reception, we will confirm your three points of identification e.g. Medicare card, Concession card, and confirmation of personal information. If you wish to claim our bulk billing benefits on age / concession card / DVA status, you must provide proof of eligibility upon checking in.

What if my family member attends with me and is required to be seen during the same appointment slot? As much as possible, please advise reception prior to your appointment as to whether your family members requires medical attention, so that reception can add your family member and perform a three-point identity check.

How do I know how much to pay? Our fees and services are outlined in the above link. You are welcome to confirm the nature of your appointment and applicable fees with reception upon checking in. If there are any developments within the appointment, your doctor and/or nurse will specify the fees involved as soon as practicable prior to proceeding with the proposed treatment.

How do I make payment? After you receive the relevant service, the doctor will request that you attend reception to complete payment. We take both EFTPOS or cash.

How do I claim the rebate from Medicare? You don’t need to claim a Medicare rebate for your GP consultation anymore. From 1 November 2025, our clinic bulk bills all eligible GP consultations directly to Medicare, meaning there are no out-of-pocket fees for patients with a valid Medicare card. If you receive a service not covered by Medicare (e.g. treatment room fees or forms), our reception team will inform you of any applicable private fees before payment. Patients without a valid Medicare card will also be advised by the doctor and directed to reception to pay the private consultation fee.
