Fees

We are a mixed billing practice. This means that for some services, we will charge the upfront fees set out below. If the patient is eligible to receive Medicare benefits, the patient will receive the Medicare rebate set out below. The net cost refers to how much the patient is out-of-pocket after the Medicare rebate.

We will continue to bulk bill the following:

  • Weekday consultations for patients aged under 16 years, over 75 years, concession card holders, or DVA;
  • Weekly injections and fortnightly antipsychotic injections;
  • Government-funded vaccinations (childhood vaccinations, Boostrix during pregnancy, fluvax, pneumonia), however consultation fees may apply for vaccinations requiring physical examination;
  • GP Chronic Disease Management Plan and Reviews;
  • GP Mental Health Plans and Reviews;
  • Pregnancy plan (28+ weeks, once per pregnancy);
  • Home medication reviews; and
  • ECGs, spirometry, and ABPI.

Payment Policy

What if I need to cancel? Please provide at least 4 hours notice so we can offer your appointment to another patient. If you do not notify us that you are not attending your appointment, we will charge a $25.00 no-show, which does not attract a Medicare rebate. This fee applies to all patients.

Fees are subject to change at doctors’ discretion in relation to consult requirements but patients will be made aware prior

What do I need to bring to my appointment now? Upon presenting to the reception, we will confirm your three points of identification e.g. Medicare card, Concession card, and confirmation of personal information. If you wish to claim our bulk billing benefits on age / concession card / DVA status, you must provide proof of eligibility upon checking in.

What if my family member attends with me and is required to be seen during the same appointment slot? As much as possible, please advise reception prior to your appointment as to whether your family members requires medical attention, so that reception can add your family member and perform a three-point identity check.

How do I know how much to pay? Our fees and services are outlined in the above link. You are welcome to confirm the nature of your appointment and applicable fees with reception upon checking in. If there are any developments within the appointment, your doctor and/or nurse will specify the fees involved as soon as practicable prior to proceeding with the proposed treatment.

How do I make payment? After you receive the relevant service, the doctor will request that you attend reception to complete payment. We take both EFTPOS or cash.

How do I claim the rebate from Medicare? The rebate can be placed immediately onto physical debit cards, regardless of the method of payment. If you do not have a physical debit card, we will issue you with an invoice for you to manually claim the rebate from Medicare.
